Marion Cloud Jr.
Marion (Stormy) Cloud Jr., 50, Rt. 6, died Monday morning at the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis.
He had been employed 18 years with the Hoover Company and was a member of the Perkinsville Brotherhood and Sisterhood. He is a past commander of the George Hockett Post of the American Legion and is a past chief de guerre of the 40 & & of Anderson.
Surviving with the widow, Etha Mae are two sons, James L. Cloud and David L. Cloud, of Anderson; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Cloud; two brothers, Robert and Walter Cloud, both of Elwood; a sister, Doris Beeson, Anderson; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fisher Brothers Funeral Home in Lapel with the Rev. Robert Shoemaker of the Perkinsville Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites by the Legionnaires.
Friends may call today at the funeral home. The American Legion will conduct memorial rites at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In Aug. 4, 1976 Anderson Herald (p. 9) is mention of "the Stormy Cloud Tournament in memory of Legionnaire Marion Cloud".
