  Notes	Obituary: Mrs. Virgil Rash, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.L. Fincher of near Enon died in a Monticello hospital Sunday morning April 23. Minter Fincher Rash was born in Monroe County, North Carolina, June 30, 1898. She came to Union County, Arkansas in 1902 and in 1912 with her parents she came to Drew County where she has since resided. On June 24, 1916 she was married to Virgil Rash and to this union eight children were born, seven of whom survive. Mrs. Rash was an active member of the Enon Baptist Church. She had lived a Christian life and one of service to her family and her friends. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Florence Veazey and Mrs. Thomas Cloud of Monticello; Mrs. Orie Truke, Basehor, Kansas; Mrs. Rena Mae Henry, Beaumont, Tex.; Mrs. Roy Hartley, Orange, Tex.; and Miss Onita Rash of Cominto and one son, Pvt. R.C. Rash of Camp Barkeley, Texas. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Harvey Barnes of Monticello. Burial was in the Rash Cemetery. May 25, 1944
