RICHMOND, Ind. -- Alma McClure Cloud, age 77, of Richmond, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at Reid Hospital.
Born July 15, 1931, in Mt. Vernon, Ky., to Elbert and Nannie B. Harper McClure, Alma was a resident of Richmond since 1952. She retired in 1993 from Belden after 32 years. She was an active member and past treasurer of the Pentecostal Church of Richmond and a member of the Belden 25-Year Club.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James M. Cloud; son, Gary W. Cloud of Richmond; granddaughter, Ashlei Warren and her husband Graham of China; great-grandson, Grady Warren; step-granddaughter, Alexandra Hancock; sister, Marie Gentry of Mt. Vernon, Ky.; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sharon Hancock who died in 2006, and two brothers.
Visitation for Alma McClure Cloud will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W., Richmond. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Dr. Steven Clark officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery Veterans Field of Honor.
