Carolyn C. Ray
Funeral services for Carolyn Cloud Ray will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2006 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel in Oakdale with the Rev. Danny Perry and Brother Conrad Murrell officiating. Committal services will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Carolyn Ray, 64, of Glenmora, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.
She was born on March 8, 1942 to the union of Dillard and Audie Lee Ray Cloud in Pineville. She was a beautician for eighteen years in Elizabeth, Oakdale and Alexandria. She also was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Her mother, Audie Lee Ray Cloud and sister, Gerry Nell Ray, precede her in death.
She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memories, one daughter, Tangie Lee Doyle and husband Clyde Doyle of Glenmora, two grandchildren, Ethan Phillip Doyle and Elizabeth Paige LaRae Doyle of Glenmora, father, Dillard Cloud, Sr. of Woodworth, two brothers, Dillard Cloud, Jr., and wife Gloria and Bennie Cloud all of Glenmora, three nieces, Jennifer Coker and Ashley Hope Cloud both Oakdale and Elizabeth Joan Perry of Bethel Community; three nephews, John Eric Cloud, Byron Cloud and Jason Russell Cloud all of Glenmora; four great nephews; one great niece; nine great-great nephews and one special brother-in-law, Derwood Ray of Oakdale.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Reynard Perry, Ryan Ray Perry, Rory Ira Perry, Donovan Ellis Coker, John Eric Cloud, Timothy Venable, Byron Cloud and Jason Russell Cloud.
Friends may call today from 3 pm until 10 p.m. in the White Oaks Chapel and Sunday, April 9, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the White Oaks Chapel and from 12 p.m. until time of service in the Memorial Chapel.
