    • Note from Wayne Detwiler of Oct. 22, 2018: Emma was born in Parkertown, N.J., dau. of a sea captain who I believe was James W. Parker, b . ca. 1857 and lived in Tuckertown, N.J., near Parkertown and listed as a seaman in the 1880 census.  She was the granddaughter of Eben C. Parker, also a sea captain.  Amos, a carpenter by trade, and Emma m. June 29, 1903 in E. Marlborough and lived in Philadelphia in 1910 and later moved to Caln, Chester County.  Amos and Emma are buried in the Old Kennett Meeting House Cemetery.
