  Notes	Obituary: The Martinsburg Journal  August 20, 1965 Mrs. Luther T. Pierce Mrs. Ruth Pierce, 58, Rt.2, widow of Luther T. Pierce, died early this morning in City Hospital where she had been hospitalized for two weeks. Born in Berkley County, on March 1, 1907, daughter of Dorsey Kettering and the late Ethel Ashton Kettering, she had operated Pierce's Grocery at Four Mile Woods since the death of her husband on Aug. 17, 1953. Surviving are her father, Liberty Street; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Evelyn) Bedwell, Rt. 2; one half-brother, Dorsey W. Kettering, Jr., North Mountain; and two grandchildren - Donald L. Bedwell, Jr., Rt. 3; and David M. Bedwell, also of Rt. 2. Services will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas G. Coyle, Jehovah's Witness, officiating.  Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetary.
