  Notes	Obituary: Gloria J. Babin, 57, of Corpus Christi, died Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Christus Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi. A native of Beaumont, she lived in Corpus Christi for seventeen years. Survivors include her husband, Bennie L. Babin; her son, Brian Babin; her daughter, Cheryl Lane and her husband David all of Corpus Christi; her mother, Gloria Poindexter; her brother Thomas Lynn Poindexter both of Tucson, Arizona; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. April 2, 2005 at Southside Community Church in Corpus Christi. Funeral service will be 1:30 P.M. Sunday, April 3, 2005 at Broussard's Chapel, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southside Community Church, 3346 Airline, Corpus Christi, Texas 78414 or to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 297153, Houston, Texas 77292.
