  Notes	He was a "San Mateo estate investigator" and was one of two people responsible for locating the heirs of James Frazer, a Palo Alto department store magnate who died in San Mateo.  The San Mateo Times of May 5, 1938, page 2, reads: "Acting with power of attorney for the heirs is Earl Cloud, San Mateo estate investigator, to whom the money will actually be paid by Dr. McGovern for distribution to the heirs."

  Notes	- SECOND MARRIAGE IS ALLEGED TODAY IN DIVORCE SUIT Six months after he had married Mrs. Ida Cloud in Seattle, nine years ago, his wife informed him that she had changed her name to Ida Karwaski, having become the wife of John Karwaski in San Francisco, it is alleged by Thomas Cloud in a suit for divorce filed today in the superior court at Redwood City. Cloud says he married the woman in Seattle in January, 1918, and left on the Transport Crook for Manila. Arrived at the island port the following July he received a letter from his wife in San Francisco saying that she had tired of his absence and was married to a new husband, it is alleged by Cloud. He seeks a divorce on grounds of desertion. San Mateo Times, July 16, 1926, p. 8
