Laura C. Pitzer
Laura C. Pitzer, 99, of Martinsburg, died Friday, August 18, 2006, at Heartland of Martinsburg.
Born May 28, 1907, in Washington County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Alvey Davis and Milcha Grimes Davis.
She was a lifelong and the oldest member of Harmony United Methodist Church.
She was a housewife and a seasonal worker with C.H. Musselman Company.
She is survived by one son, Charles G. ?Sonny? Pitzer and wife, Betty; two daughters, Doris Gambino and husband, Joseph, and Mary Lou Williamson and husband, Allen; daughter-in-law, Odessa Cloud, all of Martinsburg; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Grant Pitzer; one son, Douglas Nelson Cloud; two granddaughters, Donna Jean Cloud and Deborah DeHaven; six brothers, Will, Emory, Walter, Roy, Robert and Grayson ?Jim? Davis.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 21, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Ray Roberson officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
