Eunice Marie Johnson
Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Marie Johnson will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2006 in the Rush Chapel, Oakdale Downtown Location with Reverends David Booth, Kenneth Crumbley, Tony Robinson and Bert Riddle officiating. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Johnson, 84, of Oakdale entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 9, 2006 in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Johnson; one sister, Lenora Ray, and her parents, Jesse and Mary Johnson.
Survivors include one son, Henderson Ashworth, Jr. of Kentucky; one daughter, Lois Jordan of Richmond, Virginia; five brothers, J. B. Johnson and his wife, Goldie of Glenmora, Carl W. Johnson and his wife, Julia of Glenmora, Charles Johnson and his wife, Sybil of Oakdale, Elvin Johnson and his wife, Nelda of Oakdale, and Dean Johnson and his wife, JoAnn of Lake Charles; four sisters, Pauline Stanley of Oakdale, Laverne Chenevert and her husband, Joe of Oakdale, Jewel Johnson and her husband, Curtis of Alexandria and Evelyn Johnson and her husband, Vance of Glenmora; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
