Melvin "Button" Insall, born October 29, 1908 in Kendall County. He moved to San Antonio from Boerne in 1934. He owned and operated a furniture and hardware store on N. Flores Street. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Julia Insall and brother, Clarence Cade Insall. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Edna Insall; sisters, Mary Jane Miller of San Angelo and Margorie; cousin, Edna Earle Smith of Boerne; nieces, Tammye Kelley and husband Sam, Shirley Pieratt, Mary Erdelt and husband Donald; nephews, Walter Heffner, Jr. and wife Helen Jean and Gerald Nowotny and wife Sandy; sons, Greg and Bryan; other numerous nieces and nephews. SERVICES A Rosary will be recited on Monday, March 24, 2003 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with a Mass to begin at 10:00 A.M. Immediately following the Mass, Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
