- Obituary:
Mary M. Cloud, 65, wife of Charles B. Cloud of Homestead 36, Decatur, died at 12:45 a.m. today in the Adams Co. Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Adams County, she was born Dec. 27. 1916, the daughter of William M. and Ruth M. Schaffner-Keller. She was married to Charles B. Cloud on July 20, 1940. He survives.
Mrs. Cloud was a member of St. mary's Catholic Church, the Rosary Society and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.
Also surviving are one son, Michael C. Cloud, Decatur; one brother, Thomas F. Keller, Ft. Wayne; one sister, Barbara Hart, Ft. Wayne, and one granddaughter, Tessa M. Cloud, Decatur. One brother, Joseph Keller, is deceased.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Father John E. Gillig officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
Honoring the request of Mrs. Cloud, there will be visitation only during the 8:30 p.m. rosary services on Friday at the Gillig-Doan & Sefton Funeral Home.
Preferred memorials are to the St. Mary's Parish Improvement Fund and for masses.
