      FORMER RESIDENT OF BEAUMONT DIES
      (Special to the News)
      BEAUMONT, May 25. -- Funeral services for Mrs. J.J. Bonner, 41, former Beaumont resident, who died Sunday at Houston, will be held here Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the home of her mother, Mrs. Aurelia Peters McCue Norvell, at 615 Fifth street.
      The Rt. Rev. Clinton S. Quin of Houston, bishop of the Episcopal diocese of Texas, will officiate, assisted by Dr. James DeWolfe of Houston and Rev. George F. Cameron of Beaumont.  Burial will be in the family mausoleum in Magnolia cemetery under the direction of Pipkin & Brulin.
      She was the daughter of the late B.R. Norvell, who was president of the American National bank here for many years.  Mrs. Bonner was the niece of Mrs. Percy Wiess, Mrs. J.K. Grist, and Mrs. W.H. Turner, all of Beaumont.
