Obituary:
CHESTER M. CLOUD '06
The Class of 1906 reports with deep regret the death of Chester M. Cloud on August 24 after an illness of a month. His death followed that of his wife, who died in the same hospital on August 5.
Chester had retired as an insurance executive about ten years ago. He was active both in the East Hampton Riding Club and as an officer of the Devon Yacht Clug. He served on the East Hampton Village Board where he had made many friends. A quiet man, he possessed a warm personality and keen sense of humor which endeared him to all with whom he came in contact.
He is survived by a brother, Samuel Marts Cloud, and two nephews of Norwalk, Conn., and a nephew, G. Walther Ewalt, of Anne Arundel County, Md.
To those who survive the class offers their deepest sympathy.
