- Obituary:
Clyde C. Cloud, 79, of Castalia Street, Bellevue died Wednesday at The Bellevue Hospital.
He was born in Bellevue to Ray Sr. and Stella (Burkett) Cloud and graduated from Bellevue High School in 1943.
Mr. Cloud was employed as an inspector at Whirlpool Corp. and was an antique dealer for 35 years. He retired in 1988.
He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS Montichello and was a lifetime member of the Bellevue VFW and a former governor of the Moose.
Surviving are his wife, Shelda M. Beaver VanFleet Cloud, to whom he married Nov. 25, 1961; daughter, Kathy VanFleet and son, Mark (Trina) Cloud, both of Bellevue; grandchildren, Emily and Libby Cloud; brother, Larry (Judy) Cloud of Willard; and sisters, Norma Miller of Clyde, Lucille (Richard) Overmyer of Fremont and Beverly Smithson of Bellevue. He is preceded by his parents, brother, Raymond Cloud, and sister, Mary Cloud.
Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jane Ann Clark officiating.
Burial: Bellevue Cemetery.
