- Obituary:
KINGSPORT - Harold E. "Buck" Reynolds, 73, of 2609 Suffolk St., went to be with the Lord Tuesday (Dec. 18, 2001) at the Wellmont Hospice House.
Mr. Reynolds was born in Millstone, Ky., and had lived in Kingsport since 1973. He was the owner and operator of Mark Mining Equipment Co. He was a devoted Christian and enjoyed doing church and charity work. He was preceded in death by his parents, John G. and Emma Cloud Reynolds; sisters, Lorene Reynolds and Donna Reynolds; brother, Jack Reynolds. Surviving are his wife, Jo Anne Reynolds of the home; sons, Jack Reynolds of Summerset, Ky., and Mark Reynolds of Kingsport; grandchildren, Tonya Allen of Georgetown, Ky., Jon Reynolds of Lexington, Ky., Ena Compton and Jason Reynolds, both of Summerset, Ky.; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Geneva Cornett and Jan Gorman, both of Hazard, Ky., Sharon Cowart of Houston, Tex.; brothers, Oscar Reynolds of Louisville, Ky., and Charles Reynolds of Millstone, Ky.; many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Richard Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
