Whittington Funeral services for Dalton E. Whittington, 75, of Kirbyville, formerly of Port Arthur, will be held today at 2 p.m. in Clayton-Thompson Funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ernest Zavisch, a Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in the Bumstead cemetery at Fletcher, Tex., today at 3:30 p.m. graveside rites. Mr. Whittington was pronounced dead on arrival Monday at 9:36 a.m. at Park Place hospital after he became ill visiting his daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Vincent of Port Arthur.
