      Manslaughter Charge is Filed in Kern Craxh
      TAFT, Kern Co. -- A manslaughter complaint was issued against Claude Earle Scales, 43, of Kerman as funeral services were for a family of five killed in a collision Sunday between their station wagon and his truck.
      The highway patrol charges Scales made an improper turn in front of the vehicle driven by Frank Yule, 34, of Taft.  The accident occured at Highway 399 and Enos Lane.
      Yule, his wife, Dolores, 33, and their three children, Janice, 8, Scott, 5, and Barbara, 3, perished in the wreckage.
      Scales was not hurt.
      Yule, an oil company geologist, was born in Wisconsis.  He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Yule, and a sister, Mrs. Jean Olson of Wisconsin.
      Mrs. Yule was a native of Chicago, Ill.  Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Theresa Rowland of Idyllwild, Riverside county; and a sister, Mrs. Hans Nielsen of Indio, Riverside County.
      Cremation followed in Bakersfield.
