- Obituary:
James Cloud passed away on Oct. 27, 2009 at the age of ninety-nine in Carrollton, Denton County, Texas.
James was the eldest son, born Feb. 21, 1910 to Edward M. and Emma (Tedrick) Cloud. He was born and raised in the area of Krebs, Oklahoma.
He was a World War II veteran and served in the European Theatre. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Rose Heathcock Ritchey; his parents, Edward and Emma Tedrick Cloud; one brother, Douglas M. Cloud; three sisters, Mabel Anderson, Dora Huff, Irene Parks, and a grandson, Randy Farmer.
He leaves behind 3 children; his daughter, Donna & husband, Guy Janness III, Carrollton, Texas; T.J. "Buddy Cloud" and wife, Nancy Lewis, of Topeka, Ks., and Gwen Dobbs, of Hartshorne, OK; one brother, Henry and wife, Edna Cloud, of Beaver, Utah; 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will follow at a later date.
