William Henry came back to visit my Grandmother Alberta in November 1924 and died in the front bedroom of our farm home where I grew up. Mom said that he had pneumonia, but someone else said that it was a heart problem. Think that the obituary related the heart condition. He was buried in St. Marys Cemetery with other Clouds. Sarah Louisa was buried in Nebraska as she had died a few years before. Albert T. Cloud is also buried in St. Marys Cemetery of Hancock County IL with his second wife."

William H. Cloud
Funeral services for William H. Cloud were held at St. Marys Baptist Chruch, Thrusday morning at 10:00 o'clock, Rev. J. T. Dodds, of Carthage officiated.
William H. Cloud passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. B. Walker, near Bentley, Nov. 4, 1924 at 2:15 p.m. His death was sudden, due to neuralgia of the heart of which he had been a sufferer for some time.
The deceased was the son of Uncle Albert and Aunt Nancy Cloud, pioneer settlers of St. Marys township, who are familiarly remembered by the older residents there now.
William H. Cloud and Birdie L. Botts were married Jan. 24, 1876. They resided in St. Marys township for a few years, afterwards moving to nebraska in 1893. Mrs. Cloud preceded her husband in death twelve years ago.
To this union were born six children, viz: Mrs. A.B. Walker, who resides near Carthage; D.E. Cloud, Perkins, Okla.; Harry Cloud, Inavale, Nebr.; Mrs. Bert Chase, Perkins, Okla.; Mrs. R.C. Orchard, Las Vegas, N. Mex.; William Minor, of Perkins, Okla.
"Will," as he was known to his friends, was of a genial and friendly disposition. His friends were many and were highly valued by him, and he often expressed a desire to join the friends and loved ones gone before.
In 1888 during the ministry of Rev. Dillard, he with a number of others, united with St. Marys Baptist church.
Besides his children and other relatives he is survived by one brother, James Cloud of Kewanee; sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
