Buried Ghent Cemetery, Ghent, Carroll county, Kentucky, USA Notes - Pam Browning was a phenomenal player for the Carroll County High School Basketball team, and for the University of Kentucky Lady Kats, where she continues to hold many UK records. For a short time she played for a professional Women's Basketball team. Though trained as athletic coach, she worked many years delivering parcels for United Parcel Service. While on a ski trip to West Virginia with a girlfriend, she was killed when the vehicle they were riding in went off the road. Her friend survived. A lengthy obituary was published in the Lexington Herald-Leader. She was buried beside her parents in Ghent Cemetery, where there are UK and basketball symbols on her marker.
