      LILLINGTON ? Shirley C. Sorrell Sr., 89, of 401 Chesterfield Lake Road, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, in his home.
      Mr. Sorrell was an Air Force veteran and a retired farmer.
      Services: Funeral, 2 p.m. Wednesday in Oak Grove Baptist Church in Coats. Burial in Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier.
      Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats.
      Survived by: Wife, Edna; sons, Corbin, Kelly, Chuck and Samuel; sisters, Lula Jane Messer, Velma Creech, Sybil Mabry and Laura Langdon; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
