MRS. NANCY SHEALY PASSES AT HOME IN NANKIN, MICHIGAN
Final rites for Mrs. Nancy Shealy, former resident of Macon County, who died at her home in Nankin, Michigan, Monday, February 25, were held this afternoon Thursday at 2 o'clock, from the St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Oglethorpe.
Born in Macon County in May, 1862, the daughter of the late Thomas and Harriet Kleckley Coogle, Mrs. Shealy spent practically her entire lifetime in Oglethorpe, moving to Nankin only four years ago. Her husband, the late Robert Shealy, died twenty-five years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Shealy are: one son, W. T. Shealy of Nankin, Michigan and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews now living in Macon County.
The Rev. John D. Zeigler officiated with burial in the Oglethorpe Cemetery. Montezuma Funeral Home in charge.
