Funeral Services For Mrs. Smith Saturday.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Smith, 80, one of this community's oldest and most highly respected citizens, whose death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. W. Holloway, Friday afternoon, were held at Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery at three o'clock Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Woodard of Hawkinsville. Mrs. Smith had been ill for many months and the end had been expected for several days. She was a faithful member of the Primitive Baptist Church in which she always took an active part up until the time of her illness. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. E. W. Holloway, of this county; one son, James W. Smith of Macon; and three step-sons, Dr. W. J. Smith of DeSota, Mr. D. C. Smith and Mr. J. T. Smith both of this point.
