In her senior years her mind was sharp and she would amaze and delightgrandchildren and great grandchildren with tales about each ofher ten children when they were young.
Lizzie loved to dance. Once, after retirement, while sitting onthe front porch in Bronte, Oscar remarked "I bet I could still call a square". Her remark, "I'll bet I could still dance a square."
