Evert Dircksen had with him hi s two children aged thirteen and six years. Annetje Dircx had a her four year old child wit h her. They arrived at New Amsterdam (now New York City) on 15 March 1663." "...It appears that Evert and his two children traveled up the Hudson River to the Albany are a where they remained for some time.""Evert Dircksen is also found on the 1711 tax rolls of Shawangunk, Ulster County, NY."
