James Clifford and Iva Lorene Morehouse

Word has been received of the deaths of James Clifford ?Jimmy? Morehouse, 91, and his wife, Iva Lorene (Cloud) Morehouse, of Yakima, Wash., formerly of Falcon. James died July 31, 2006, at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and Iva Lorene died Aug. 12, 2006, at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
James was born July 1, 1915, in Falcon, to Thurman and Anna Morehouse, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and a son, Clinton Wayne.
He attended the Morehouse School near Falcon.
On Oct. 12, 1935, he married Iva Lorene Cloud in Lebanon.
He worked many years for the City of Yakima, where he was a heavy equipment operator.
Iva Lorene was born June 17, 1919, in Denver, Ark., to Louis and Stella Cloud, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by five sisters, a son, her husband, and a grandson.
She attended Morehouse School and school in Lebanon.
At the time of her retirement in 1992 she was employed at Luv?s Hallmark as a bookkeeper.
The Morehouse?s moved to Yakima, Wash. in 1953.
They are survived by four sons and their wives, James Jr. and Betty Morehouse, of Springfield, Mo.; Marvin and Donna Morehouse, of Moxee, Wash.; Larry and Kathy Morehouse, of Yakima, Wash. and David and Katy Morehouse, of Yakima, Wash.; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services for James Clifford Morehouse were held Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at the Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel in Yakima, Wash.
Services for Iva Lorene Morehouse were held Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at the Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel.
They were both buried in the Terrace Heights Memorial Park, at Yakima, Wash.
