Notes - Imogene Bennett wrote Sept. 18, 2006: "Daniel CLOUD, s/o Joseph & Mary, also got to Claiborne Co TN. He d before Aug 12, 1816 in Claiborne. Claiborne court records prove his wife's name was Tabitha when she was appointed to administer the said estate that date. His brother Samuel Sr. was first appointed guardian of their children, but don't have a date for that. Only record I have in that regard was when Samuel Sr. was ordered Aug 13, 1822 to render an account of his guardianship, then Nov 11, 1822 Tabitha was appointed guardian of the minor heirs. Maybe that is when Samuel Sr.'s Peggy Boyers came on the scene and she didn't want him to be responsible for the kids although they surely were living with their mom?"
