    Lula Cloud
    April 8, 1906 - March 30, 2005
    Mrs. Lula Cloud, 98, of Mount Vernon, died Wednesday, March 30, at Rockcastle Hospital.
    She was born in Rockcastle County on April 8, 1906, and was the daughter of Jack and Lydia Rash Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church.
    She is survived by four sons, B.F. Cloud of Covington, J.M. Cloud and his wife, Alma, of Richmond, Ind., Jackie Cloud of Hamilton, Ohio, and George Cloud and his wife, Jan, of Mount Vernon; and six daughters, Evelyn York, Alma Jean Hall and her husband, Wendell, and Doris Machal and her husband, Bill, all of Lexington, Inice Harper of Mansfield, Ohio, Glenna Parkerson of Rantool, Ill., and Priscilla Cloud of Nicholasville; 22 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Cloud; five brothers; two sisters; and a grandson.
    Funeral services for Mrs. Cloud were conducted on Saturday, April 2, at 1 p.m. at the Dowell and Martin Funeral Home by Bro. Jim Weedman.
    Burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery.
