I was in the library in Bainbridge, Ga (Decatur County) yesterday and found the following on Clouds in Wilkes County Georgia.  This may be old information to many of you but I thought I would pass it along.

1.  Deed Book BB 1787-1791, P. 44
27 Oct 1787 Jeremiah Cloud and Sarah, his wife, to John Pope, all of Wilkes Co., for 60 pounds, 200 acres granted 15 Nov 1785, Beaverdam Creek, Adjacent N.E by John Poe, all other sides vacant. Signed Jeremiah X Cloud and Sarah X Cloud

Witness:  James Cowden,  Thomas Wooten  Registered 12 Aug 1790

2.  Deed Book BB 1787-1791, P. 59
27 Oct 1789, John Cloud and Elizabeth, his wife, to John Pope for 170 pounds, 385 acres on Long creek. Signed John X Cloud and Elizabeth Cloud  Witness: Thomas Pope, Thomas Wooten  Registered 16 Aug 1790

3.  Deed Book EE 1788-1790, P. 144
10 May 1787 Jeremiah Cloud and Sarah, his wife, to Robert Singleton, all of Wilkes Co., for 100 pounds, Newford Creek 200 acres. Signed Jeremiah X Cloud and Sarah X Cloud Witness:  William Layson, John Cloud

5.  Deed Book HH 1790-1794, P. 92
24 Oct. 1789 Jeremiah Cloud to Archibald Yarborough, both of Wilkes Co., for 120 pounds, 250 acres, deeded from Ezekiel Cloud to Jeremiah Cloud, 16 Oct 1789.  Signed Jeremiah X Cloud Witnesses Wilie Pope and Robert Singleton Proved by Wylie Pope and Robert Singleton 22 Oct 1790, H. Mounger J.P. Registerd 26 Oct 1790

6.  Deed Book RR 1798-1805, P. 381
29 March 1800  Richard Beazley and William Beazley, to Aris Cox, all of Wilkes Co., for $150, on Newford Creek, 50 acres, adj Beazley, Bennel Reever, Part of tract where Richard Beazley now lives, formerly granted to Ezekiel Cloud and sold by him to said Richard Beazley.

7.  Deed Book SS 1801-1802,   Ezekiel Cloud listed as witness to a deed on 29 Jan 1802.
