Back Together Again.

In 1837, the McDades and the Clouds left Alabama for the Republic of Texas. They sent their wives and children by boat through New Orleans and they brought their household goods by wagon, settling first in Austin's colony before dispersing throughout Texas.

|
On October 22, 2004, descendants of those two families met again in Hempstead to visit and to learn about the children of the friends of their fathers, their cousins.
