Asia Minor -- This ancient land is now the country of Turkey.  Simon Wiess was a Royal Arch Mason at Constantinople (now Istanbul, Turkey), April 2, 1825, and later that same year went to Asia Minor where he held a prominent position in Masonic circles there.
