Pauline Wiess Coffin (1837-1930). Simon & Margaret Wiess' oldest child, Pauline was born at Nacogdoches, Texas in 1837. She outlived all her siblings, dying at the old family place called Wiess' Bluff in 1930. She married Abel Coffin, a ship carpenter and descendant of the Coffin family of Nantucket, Massachussets.
