Mississippi between 1843-46 to Caddo Parish, Louisiana, where they are listed in the 1850 census. Living beside them are Moses' brother James Elam Whittington with his wife, widow, Rebecca M. Paramore; and Charles R. Whittington with wife Hannah Dockery. It is not known how Charles R. Whittington is related to Moses."     "Moses Whittington and his first wife Nancy were parents of six children. Nancy died prior to 1857 and Moses was remarried to Margaret Stuckey, daughter of William Stuckey and Susan Pipkin in March 1857 in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. The Stuckey's had moved west to Louisiana from Conecuh Co. Alabama. Moses Whittington and Margaret Stuckey became parents of ten children by 1876. Moses and his second wife Margaret are listed in the 1860 census of Lafayette Co.
