      Wedding Ceremony Solemnized At First Baptist Church In Santa Barbara With Dr. Chastain Officiating

      Announcement is being made of the marriage of Frances Eloise Ludlow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dixon Hickman of Santa Barbara, Calif., to Master Tech. Sgt. Noah Edward Cloud, son of Mrs. Felix Portanna, 2225 12th street.
      The wedding took place at the First Baptist church in Santa Barbara with Dr. Theron Chastain reading the double-ring ceremony in the presence of about 300 guests.
      Baskets of calla lilies and paperwhite narcissus, with tall candelabra, flanked the altar.
      Given By Father
      The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin gown with a long train and sweetheart neckline. A fingertip veil of illusion fell from a seed pearl coronet and she carried orchids and gardenias. She also wore a string of aearls.
      Mrs. Walter Erickson attended her sister as matron of honor, wearing a lavender frock and carrying a colonial bouquet.
      The bridesmaides were Mrs. James V. Hone of Canoga  Park, Calif., Mrs. LeRoy Wilson, Miss Rickie Cagoulices, Miss Howell and Miss Zella Jorgensen.
      Tech. Sgt. Howard R. Moody was best man and the ushers were S-Sgt. Carl Nessler, Jr., Walter Erickson, Frank Thomas, Robert McNeill and William Ludlow, all of the Marine corps.
      The bride's mother wore a fuchsia crepe dress with a feather hat. The bridegroom's mother was attired in black.
      At Home In Santa Barbara
      The couple are making their home in Santa Barbara following a short honeymoon in Los Angeles.
      Mrs. Cloud is a graduate of Santa Barbara high school and the Marine corps air station at Goleta, Calif.
      Sgt. Cloud attended Thomas Jefferson high school and prior to his enlistment in the Marine corps, was a specialist in the fingerprint division of the Port Arthur police force. He recently returned from combat duty in the Southwest Pacific as an aerial photographer. He is stationed at the Marine Air station at Goleta.
