- Is this them?
1830 census - only one Allen Jones in Mississippi
Allen Jones, Copiah County, MS, 1 male under the age of 5 (Jackson?), 1 male btwn 20 - 30 (Allen), 3 females under 5 (Mary (?) & 2 others), and 1 female btwn 15 - 20 (Nancy).
1840 Newton County, MS, Allen Jones
Males: under 5 = 2, btwn 5 - 10 = 2, btwn 10 - 15 = 1, btwn 30 - 40 = 1
(my assumptions based on 1850 census: under 5 = Washington & George, btwn 5 - 10 = Calvin & Henry, btwn 10 - 15 = Jackson, btwn 30 - 40 = Allen)
Females: under 5 = 2, btwn 5 - 10 = 1, btwn 10 - 15 = 3, btwn 20 - 30 = 1
(my assumptions based on 1850 census: under 5 = Kazan & Lavina, btwn 5 - 10 = Matilda, btwn 10 - 15 = Mary (?) & 2 others, btwn 20 - 30 = Nancy)
(girls were a little off...but, this census shows that Allen and Nancy were also very busy before 1830)
