    • Obituary:
      Harry Pierce Cloud, junior member of B.F. Cloud & Son real estate, loans and insurance, died at 6:30 o'clock last evening in the home of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. B.F. Cloud, 1390 West Macon street.
      He had been in ill health for the past years, his illness having made necessary his retirement from business last May. His death was caused from stomach trouble and a complication of diseases. For a time last summer he was in the hospital for treatment. Then he was able to be about again. About one month ago he was taken again to the hospital, there to remain until one week ago yesterday, when he was removed to the home of his parents.
      Mr. Cloud was a veteran of the World War and a member of the American Legion. For 10 months during the war he had been stationed at Fort Leavenworth and Camp Travis. He was with the signal corps.
      He was a graduate of the Decatur High School and Brown's Business college and had attended James Millikin university one year and the University of Cincinnati two years. While in college he had studied engineering and during the construction of the million dollar impounding dam here had assisted in the surveying.
      Mr. Cloud was 31 years of age, married and the father of a boy 2 years old. He was a member of the local Optimists Club.
      He was born on Oct. 12, 1893 in Decatur and on June 1, 1920, was married to Miss Susan M. Hall, of this city. Twenty years ago he became a member of the Second Presbyterian church here.
      He leaves his wife and his son, Franklin, 1041 West North street, and his parents.
