Obituary:
Earl E. "Bud" Cloud
ROCHESTER -- Services for Earl E. "Bud" Cloud, 61, of 3414 North Old U.S. 31, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Foster & Good Funeral Home.
Mr. Cloud died at 4:06 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2002, in Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
Born Aug 9, 1940, in Benton Harbor, Mich., he was the son of Earl A. and Marcia Ellsworth Cloud, who have both preceded him in death. On Oct. 3, 1980, he was married in Logansport to Jean E. Bruce, who survives.
Mr. Cloud was an 1959 graduate of Rochester High School. He retired in 1998 from Fulton County REMC as line superintendent with 33 years of service.
He was a master gardener. He also enjoyed woodworking and fishing, and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are one daughter, Pamela Hammel and her husband, Bill, Plymouth; three sons, Michael Cloud and his wife, Laura, Jeffery Cloud and his wife, Deb, and Ty Cloud and his wife, Rita, all of Rochester; 10 grandchildren, Lee and Lucas Sutton, Plymouth, Donna Cloud, Elkhart, Misty, Nathan, Ryan and Amber Could (sic), Rochester, Andrew Schleiger and wife, Emily, Minneapolis, Minn., P.J. Schleiger, Conway, S.C., and Erin Cloud, Rochester; three sisters, Mary Lu Hudkins and her husband, George, North Little Rock, Ark., Earline O'Blenis and her husband Bill, Rochester, and Wanda Townsend and her husband, Jack, Rochester; and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. George Hapner will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Richland Center IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and one hour before the service Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Americn Heart Association and Home Health Care, Rochester.
