      Mrs. Gus Ivey
      Funeral services for Mrs. Gus Ivey, 77, who died in a Pelham hospital on Friday, February 21 were held at the First Baptist Church here on Monday, with the Reverend Clifford Jett officiating.
      Mrs. Ivey, the former Miss Willie Cloud, had been ill for several months prior to death.  She was born in Decatur County, Georgia on February 8, 1881, the daughter of William and Lou Baston Cloud.  She was the wife of Gus Ivey, who survives, also do seven daughters, Mrs. James D. Arvin of Sheridan, Arkansas, Mrs. Edwin Johnson of Donalsonville; Mrs. Winifred Joiner, Pelham, Mrs. James Ward, Bainbridge, Mrs. V. J. Correnti, and Mrs. F. J. Antonio, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Ted Marsh, Bristol, Fla.
      One brother, Henry Cloud of Bainbridge; three sisters, Mrs. D. M. Griffin, Mrs. Gussie King, and Mrs. Ethel Cox of Bainbridge; also thirty two grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren.
      Mrs. Ivey was a member of the Riverturn Freewill Baptist Church.  Interment was in Bethany Cemetery in Decatur County with Evans Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, and Jim Loyless, Ivey Minghini, Sammy Parker, G. W. Loyless, Raymond Odom, and James Everett Ivey serving as pallbearers.
