      Francis "Frank" G. Broxterman
      Francis G. Broxterman, 75, Springfield, Mo., was born November 11, 1931, to Leo and Estella Broxterman in Beattie, Kan. He graduated from Saint Peter and Saint Paul High School in Seneca, Kan., and attended SMSU in Springfield. He served four years in the United States Navy and then worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Lompoc, Calif., Springfield, Mo., Seagoville, Texas, and Bastrop, Texas. He retired in 1982. He was married on August 6, 1958, to Doris Cloud, celebrating 48 years of marriage this past August. Frank died on Saturday, December 23, 2006. Preceding him in death were his parents and his sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Ernest Aday. He is survived by his wife Doris Broxterman, of the home; and several brothers, sisters, and their spouses, Leo and Pat Broxterman, Davenport, Iowa, Ollie and Mildred Broxterman, Axtell, Kan., Betty Tappert, Troutdale, Ore., Robert Broxterman, Seneca, Kan., Barbara and Kenneth Heiman, Othello, Wash., Jim and Marilyn Broxterman, Yamhill, Ore., Millie and Bob Bair, Seneca, Kan., and Peggy and Tony Cummings, Topeka, Kan.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Carolyn Cloud, Billings; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2006, at the Immaculate Conception Church, 3555 S. Fremont, Springfield. The Funeral Mass will follow, at the church, at 11 a.m. with Father Phillip Tran officiating, under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Republic. Burial with military honors will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Billings. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
