    Birth:
    His KY death record says he was 107 at his death and his SSDI gives a birth date of 1883.  He could not have been born in 1883 as his older sister was born in May of that year.
    The 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930 censuses all show that he was born in 1886 (on the 1920 census he is one month shy of turning 34, so the year of birth deduced from it would be 1885).  Evidence of the correctness of the ages on the 1900 census and the 1910 census is the fact that his parents' ages remain consistent as do the ages of his siblings Sherman, George and William (see the census records for 1900 and 1910 for his parents' family).
    His WW-I draft registration gives his dob as Feb. 22, 1885.
    This researcher finds that the evidence presented here is conclusive that he was born in 1886, making him 104 at his death
