     "Ruben Cloud's will was dated 1832. His wife was Caroline. Perhaps this is the Caroline who was on the Church list you mentioned?  Caroline Cloud married David Whaley April 8, 1838, Decatur Co. Ga.  Also Ruben's will is in Decatur Co. Ga.

Will of Reuben Cloud
Georgia Decatur County

In the name of God Amen I Reuben Cloud of the state & County aforesaid being weak and sick in body, but of sound & disposing mind & memory: considering the certainty of death & uncertainty of time there of & being desirous of setting my worldly affairs there by be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call me home therefore make & publish this my last will & testament and manner and form following that is to say First & principally I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth to be decently buried, at the discretion of my executor here in often named, and after my just debts and funeral charges are paid, I desire & bequeath as follows: 2nd I give & bequeath unto my wife Caroline Cloud & my son Noah LaFayette & such child or children as may be born from the body of my said wife Caroline within nine months after my death, the whole of my estate, real, personal & mixed together with all money, notes, bonds, debts, dues & demands, c????? in action and any pieces of property of which I may be possessed, or to which I may have any claim at the time of my death, to them & to the heirs of their bodies lawfully begotten, to be equally divided among them. My said wife Caroline & my said son Noah LaFayette & such child or children as may be born from the body of my said wife within nine months after my death. Share & share alike. When my said son Noah LaFayette shall have attained the age of twenty one and should either my said wife die before my said son shall have attained the age twenty one years or should my said son Noah LaFayette die before he shall have attained the age of twenty one years or before his marriage, or with out lawful issue, or should such child or children which may be born from the body of my said wife Caroline as aforesaid dies before he she or they shall have attained the age of twenty or before his her or their marriage or with out lawful issue then in either event I will & bequeath the whole of my estate to the ???????? of them & it is my express will that my entire estate should be kept together for the benefit of my said wife & child or children, until my Exr. here in often mentioned should deem it advisable to sell any part there of then & in that case my said Executors are here by authorised to sell such part of my estate as they should deem advisable for the benefit of my said wife & child or children: and I do further will that my said son Noah LaFayette & such child or children as shall be born from the body of my said wife Caroline within nine months after my death should be continued under the guardianship of my said wife Caroline until my said son Noah LaFayette & such child or children as may be born as aforesaid shall successfully arrive at the age of twenty one years or in the event of a daughter being born from the body of my said wife Caroline within nine months after my death until she shall arrive at the age of sixteen years & should my said wife Caroline die during the minority of my said children, it is my express wish that my trusty friend Hiram Murphy of the county aforesaid should have the guardianship of my said child or children. And lastly I do here by constitute and appoint my trusty friends the said Hiram Murphy & Marvin Clifton of the county aforesaid, my executors of this my last will & testament. In testimony where of I have here unto set my hand & affixed my seal, this sixteenth day of June in the year eighteen hundred & thirty two. Signed, Sealed & Published by Reuben Cloud, the above named testator of his last will & testament in the presence of us who at his request & in the presence of him, in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witness there to
