Cloud Family Gathering 2010

Dates:   Gathering will be Friday, July 16, 2010 through Sunday, July 18, 2010

Location: Charleston, SC. That area is loaded with all sorts of historical connections--Revolutionary, Civil War and other interesting periods of our country’s history. Some of the attractions of the area available for individual or group experience are historic homes, churches, museums, antique shops, horse-drawn carriages and all of Charleston’s grace, history and tradition.

Accommodations:  Arrangements have been made with the Best Western Charleston Downtown hotel to be our base of operations. It is located in the center of it all and just one mile from Charleston’s famous Historic District with easy interstate access and free parking (a plus for those who will be driving there) and short drives to such places of interest as the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum; the Magnolia Plantation; the Middleton Place 18th-century rice plantation and National Historic Landmark; the circa 1738 Drayton Hall that is the oldest preserved plantation house in America open to the public; The Citadel Military College; and much more.  Daily room rates are $74.99 (plus tax) for Sunday through Thursday and $89.99 (plus tax) for Friday and Saturday. What a deal!
